Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting death shortly after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in the 3200 block of North 84th Terrace. The location is a little north of Leavenworth Road.
According to a police spokesman, officers went to the location on a disturbance call.
When they arrived, they found a deceased male in his late 20s with apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated.
The suspect was there and was taken into custody, according to the police spokesman.
It was the 50th homicide of the year in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, police said.
