Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a homicide on North 3rd Street.
Police responded to reports of a shooting about 2:11 p.m. Monday, June 22, in the 1900 block of North 3rd Street, a spokesman said.
When they arrived, officers found a man in his early 20s dead in the street from an apparent gunshot wound, the spokesman said.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until positive identification and family notification has taken place.
The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s criminal investigations division is investigating. Police ask anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
