Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide in the 3100 block of Mellier Avenue.
Officers responded about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, to the location on reports of a shooting, a police spokesman stated.
Officers located a victim, a man in his 30s, who had been shot, the spokesman stated. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Mellier Avenue is between Parallel Parkway and Brown Avenue.
The incident is under investigation by the police department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
