Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a shooting death at 10:35 p.m. Saturday, April 4, in the 1700 block of Short Avenue.
A police spokesman said that on arrival, officers found a man in his late 30s inside a vehicle, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Short Avenue is located between Parallel Parkway and Garfield Avenue in Kansas City, Kan.
The identity of the victim will not be released pending positive identification and family notification, police said.
