Police cars, fire trucks and ambulances were lined along College Parkway near 72nd and Parallel Parkway this afternoon after a police chase ended nearby.
Suspects were pursued by the Independence, Mo., police into Kansas City, Mo., and then into Kansas City, Kan., a police spokesman said.
They were taken into custody near Painted Hills Golf Course in Kansas City, Kan.
The spokesman said Independence police started the chase for a stolen auto. Kansas City, Kan., got involved around 3:45 p.m. and police threw stop sticks to halt the vehicle, according to the spokesman. There was no one injured, the spokesman said.
