Victim shot near 61st and Haskell
A victim told officers she heard several gunshots outside her home at 3:04 a.m. Oct. 26 near 61st and Haskell, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Her son ran into her room with a gunshot wound to the upper arm, according to the report. A third victim told police she saw two men messing with a vehicle in the driveway prior to the shooting, the report stated.
Commercial burglary reported at 73rd and Leavenworth Road
A clerk told officers an unknown suspect entered an office through the roof about 7:49 a.m. Oct. 26 near 73rd and Leavenworth Road, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
The suspect stole cash before fleeing, according to the report.
Fire reported on 51st Street
A fire was reported Tuesday morning at 3835 N. 51st St., according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
Firefighters reported that the fire was showing from the attic and roof. A search was conducted, and an offensive attack was made on the fire, according to the report.
