Shots fired at home on South 71st
Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to a call that there were shots fired at a home in the 600 block of South 71st at 10 p.m. Monday, according to a social media post by the police department. Residents told police that their home was struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported, according to police.
Aggravated battery reported
A victim told police he was shot at 10:27 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Delavan Avenue. Officers talked with the man at a hospital. The victim had non-life-threatening injuries.
