Several planning and zoning items are on the 7 p.m. May 25 meeting agenda for the Unified Government Commission.
The meeting will be in the Commission Chambers, lobby level, City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
There is another UG Commission meeting scheduled at 5 p.m. May 25 on the fifth floor meeting room in City Hall to discuss the parks master plan.
At the 7 p.m. meeting, there also will be a discussion on the future of safety net clinics in Kansas City, Kansas.
Also at the 7 p.m. meeting, planning and zoning items include:
• 840 Shawnee Road, renewal of a special use permit for a miniature horse;
• 7150 Kaw Drive, special use permit for a tire operation, DLS Tire Centers Inc.
• 4907 and 4909 N. 126th St. and 12456 and 12458 Meadow Lane, vacation of utility easements, Dennis and Denise Hays.
• 7250 State Ave., preliminary and final plan review for a weight room and multi-purpose athletic facility for the Kansas City Kansas Community College athletic teams.
• 6840 State Ave., preliminary and final plan review for an enclosure to house a fire truck for the KCKCC fire science program.
• 701 Village West Parkway, renewal of a special use permit for live entertainment for Chateau Avalon.
