A passenger in a pickup truck reportedly grabbed the wheel before the truck hit the wall on I-70 on Saturday, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The accident was reported about 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, on eastbound I-70 near the Turner Diagonal exit in Kansas City, Kansas, the trooper’s report stated.
According to the trooper’s report, a woman passenger grabbed the wheel, yanked it to the left, and then the pickup truck hit the wall.
The driver, a 26-year-old man from Basehor, Kansas, had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
The woman who grabbed the wheel, a 27-year-old Basehor, Kansas, resident, also had a possible injury, the report stated.
A third person riding in the truck, a 27-year-old man from Basehor, Kansas, was not injured, the trooper’s report stated.
