A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run accident about 8:52 p.m. Friday at 10th and Central Avenue, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating the fatal accident.
When officers arrived, they found a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle that fled, the spokesman stated.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where the victim died, according to the spokesman.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white or silver Suburban-style vehicle pulling a black enclosed trailer.
