The Parkwood Pool, 950 Quindaro Blvd., is now scheduled to open at noon Tuesday, May 28.
The pool’s opening was delayed from the previously scheduled Saturday, May 25, date because of a shortage of lifeguards to cover all areas of the pool.
A Unified Government spokesman stated that the safety of swimmers and those who visit the pool were the top priority.
The normal hours for the Parkwood Pool:
Monday: Closed.
Tuesday-Saturday: Noon to 8 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Spray parks opened starting Saturday, May 25, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
