Phelps dead at 84

The Topeka Capital-Journal is reporting that Fred W. Phelps Sr., nationally known for anti-gay speech, and pickets of soldiers’ funerals, has died. Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, was 84. Phelps ran for governor of Kansas in 1990.
