Temperatures to reach 40 today

Temperatures will hit only the high mark of 40 Thursday, with Friday being the coldest day of this weekend, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Temperatures were 27 degrees at 8 a.m. Thursday, with a low of 18 tonight, according to the weather service. A cold front out of Canada is descending on the area, the weather service said.

The temperatures should return to nearly seasonal normal by early next week, the weather service said.

Other than a chance for some drizzle and flurries this afternoon, dry conditions are forecast through at least next Tuesday, according to the weather service.

Temperatures should soar into the 50s on Monday, the weather service said.

The extended outlook for Nov. 24 to 30 calls for temperatures to return to normal by the next week, and showing signals to reach above normal by Nov. 30, according to the weather service.

Today, there is a chance of sprinkles between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., with a high near 40, the weather service said. A west southwest wind of 6 to 13 mph will become northwest in the afternoon, with winds gusting up to 22 mph.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 18 and a northwest wind of 7 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 28, the weather service said. A northwest wind of 7 to 10 mph will gust as high as 20 mph.

Friday night, it will be clear, with a low of 19 and a southwest wind of 5 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 33, the weather service said. A northwest wind of 7 to 14 mph will gust as high as 24 mph.

Saturday night, it will be clear, with a low of 18, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny, with a high near 47, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be clear, with a low of 31, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be sunny, with a high near 52, the weather service said.

Monday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 35, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 54, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 38, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, there is a chance of sprinkles, with a high near 51, the weather service said.

Black Friday shopping at Legends Outlets starts at 9 a.m. Nov. 25

The Legends Outlets is planning Black Friday shopping at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, for all-day shopping, holiday events and savings at nearly 75 designer and brand-name stores.

According to a spokesman for The Legends Outlets, the center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24.

The shopping center will be giving away $2,000 in Legends Outlets gift cards on Friday, Nov. 25, to Black Friday shoppers, according to the spokesman.


Win giveaways

On Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26, shoppers at the Legends Outlets may text the word “holidaycheer” to Legends Outlets’ mobile VIP line at 877-321-2951, for a chance to win a Legends $100 gift card.

One winner will be notified each hour via text message, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Winners must claim their prizes the same day at the Legends Outlets at the security window of the parking garage.

Activities

Other activities will include photo stations with Santa’s Sleigh, with the “I Love to Shop LED” and “Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal” LED sign.

A holiday movie will be shown at the Legends Lawn, and also, Santa’s mailbox will be available.

Black Friday shopping will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 25. Nearly 75 outlet stores will be participating.
