One driver was taken to the hospital after an accident at 10:55 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at I-435 southbound on the ramp to Woodend, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
Two vehicles were southbound on I-435 when a Nissan car changed lanes into the lane of a Toyota car, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Toyota, an 18-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was taken to the hospital with a possible injury, according to the report.
The driver of the Nissan, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman, was not injured, the report stated.
According to the report, there were four passengers in the Nissan who were not injured, including a 22-year-old woman from Lexington, Mo.; a 5-year-old girl from Kansas City, Mo.; a 7-year-old boy from Kansas City, Mo.; and a 3-year-old girl from Kansas City, Mo.
