A two-vehicle crash on Kaw Drive east of North 57th has killed one driver and sent the other to the hospital, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
Just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, officers with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department responded to the injury accident, the spokesman stated.
The two vehicles appeared to have been involved in a head-on crash, according to the spokesman. The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police stated.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the spokesman.
