One civilian died in a house fire at 10:49 p.m. Friday at 2619 N. 20th St., according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
In addition, a firefighter suffered a minor injury in the fire, the spokesman stated.
The fire was upgraded to a general alarm. The fire is currently under investigation, according to the spokesman.
