UG offices closed for Thanksgiving holiday
Unified Government offices will be closed Nov. 28-29 for Thanksgiving Day, reopening Monday, Dec. 2.
No trash pickup on Thursday
There will be no trash pickup or curbside recycling by Waste Management on Thursday, Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. Thursday’s pickup will be moved to Friday, Nov. 29, and Friday’s will be on Saturday, Nov. 30.
BPU administrative offices to be closed for Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 28-29
The administrative offices and customer service lobby of the Kansas City, Kansas, Board of Public Utilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Although BPU’s business offices are closed on holidays, emergency service is available seven days a week, 24 hours per day. For power emergencies, customers should call 913-573-9522. Postal holiday on Thursday
Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28, is a postal holiday, according to the U.S. Postal Service. Post offices will be closed, and there will be no mail delivery. Services will resume on Friday, Nov. 29.
KCK schools closed for fall holiday
