Randall G. “Randy” Nyp, chief executive officer for Providence Medical Center, has been named CEO for Prime HealthCare in the Kansas City market.
The Kansas City market includes Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas; Saint John Hospital, Leavenworth, Kansas, St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri, and St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Missouri.
Nyp will lead strategic direction and operations for the four hospitals and 31 physician practices and clinics in the Missouri-Kansas market for Prime Healthcare Services, according to an announcement from Prime Healthcare.
Day-to-day operations at each hospital will be directed by Karen Orr, chief nursing officer, Providence Medical Center; Jodi Fincher, administrator, St. Joseph Medical Center; Deb Ohnoutka, chief executive officer, St. Mary’s Medical Center; and Paula Ellis, chief nursing officer administrator, Saint John Hospital.
Nyp has more than 30 years experience in executive leadership roles in the health care field.
