Northeast Kansas ticket wins $1 million in Powerball

A northeast Kansas ticket has won $1 million in Powerball on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, according to the Kansas Lottery.

The winner was not identified.

In other Kansas Lottery news, the Lottery reported that the Kansas Holiday Millionaire Raffle has sold out again this year. All 200,000 tickets were purchased by 6:05 p.m. Dec. 24, according to the lottery. The $20 tickets went on sale Sept. 9.

The drawing for the $1 million grand prize will be held on Jan. 3. Other prizes in the contest include one $25,000 winner, five $5,000 winners, five $1,000 winners and 50 $100 prizes, according to the lottery.
