All residential and commercial routes of Waste Management have been suspended for Monday, Nov. 26, because of the weather, according to an announcement by the company.
This will include trash collection and recycling.
The safety of employees and the public was a primary concern in this decision, a company official stated in a news release.
Besides Wyandotte County, there will be no trash collection on Monday in Jackson, Platte, Clay abd Cass in Missouri, as well as Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Franklin and Linn counties in Kansas.
All services will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week, according to the announcement. For example, Monday service will be completed Tuesday, and Tuesday will be completed Wednesday.
All service will be completed by the end of the day on Saturday, Dec. 1, according to the announcement.
The normal collection schedule will resume on Monday, Dec. 3.
