A new HomeGoods store will open at the Legends Outlets in the spring of 2018, according to a spokeswoman for the shopping center.
A new building for the store is under construction on the east end of The Legends, near the T.J. Maxx and Forever 21 stores, according to the spokeswoman. Construction started in April.
The new store has home furnishings and accessories such as bath, bedding, furniture, lighting, rugs and kitchen essentials, offered at savings at the outlet store, the spokeswoman said.
The store will have 20,097 square feet, according to the spokeswoman, and will be the only home furnishings store at The Legends Outlets.
HomeGoods is owned by TJX Companies, which also owns T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and Sierra Trading Post, according to the spokeswoman. The T.J. Maxx store will remain open nearby at The Legends Outlets.
HomeGoods has more than 550 stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, according to the spokeswoman.
Last week, The Legends Outlets announced a new H&M clothing store will open in the fall of 2017. Other stores that have been announced there include Vans Outlet, offering active footwear and apparel; and the Beef Jerky Outlet, near Pepper Jax and close to Granite City.
