New high school classifications announced today

Bonner Springs moved from Class 4A to Class 5A today, according to an announcement by the Kansas State High School Activities Association. It will affect the 2015-2016 school year.

In football classifications for the 2016-2017 year, the KSHSAA stated that Harmon will compete in Class 5A, as well as Sumner Academy. Sumner Academy is expected to move from 4A to 5A next year.
