Tamika Pledger, who faces charges of involuntary manslaughter in connection with a fatal accident, was arrested on a bench warrant today.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the bench warrant was issued when she failed to appear for a hearing on Tuesday, July 14.
Her attorney was allowed to withdraw from the case today.
A status conference has been set for July 29 in Division 4 of the Wyandotte County Courthouse.
