National Pro Fastpitch competes in KCK

For the third consecutive year, National Pro Fastpitch softball has returned to CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kansas, for a three game series between the USSSA Pride and Texas Charge from July 10 to 12.

Gates start at 7:05 p.m.

The USSSA Pride currently lead the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) with a 12-2 record and are equipped with some of the top offensive firepower in the league. The team will feature reigning back-to-back NPF MVP Kelly Kretschman, Sierra Romero, the NPF homerun and RBI leader, and NCAA career home run record holder Lauren Chamberlain from the University of Oklahoma.

The Texas Charge, a team from the Austin area, features Taylor Gadbois from the University of Missouri, who leads the NPF in stolen bases; Katiyana Mauga, who is right behind Chamberlain in NCAA career homerun numbers; Lauren Haeger the first NCAA athlete to win 70 career games pitching and hit 70 career homeruns, and recent Women’s College World Series (WCWS) stars Delanie Gourley from the University of Florida and Bailey Landry out of LSU.
