The name of the 10-year-old girl who was shot and killed on Sunday evening, Oct. 26, in the 1400 block of New Jersey Avenue has been released.
Police said the victim was Machole J. Stewart, 10, a resident of Kansas City, Kan. Her family has been notified.
Police said the homicide remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
