Motorcyclist injured after deer crosses K-32 ramp

A motorcyclist crashed Tuesday, June 22, after a deer ran across a K-32 ramp to northbound I-635, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.

After the deer ran in front of the motorcycle, the rider tried to avoid the collision but was unsuccessful, according to the trooper’s report.

The 37-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man was taken to a hospital with a possible minor injury, the report stated.

The rider was not wearing a helmet, the report stated.
