A motorcycle and car were southbound on U.S. 73 at 5:26 p.m. March 6 when the motorcycle rear-ended the car, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report. The accident happened in the city of Lansing.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was not injured, while the driver of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old Leavenworth man, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
