More than 1,500 customers were without power in Kansas City, Kan., as of 11:21 a.m. July 13, according to the Board of Public Utilities outage map.
The outages were throughout Kansas City, Kan., including some in the Turner area and some in midtown and eastern Kansas City, Kan., according to the outage map.
The National Weather Service has lifted the thunderstorm warning for Wyandotte County, but the thunderstorm watch is in effect until 2 p.m. today for Wyandotte County, according to the National Weather Service weather radio.
