More rain possible today

Drizzle and isolated showers are possible through the day, ending gradually this evening and overnight, according to the National Weather Service.

After today, nice weather can be expected for much of the week, the weather service said. Highs Tuesday through Thursday will be in the mid to upper 70s to lower 80s. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s and mid 60s.

The next chance of rain will be late Thursday night into Friday, according to the weather service.

Today, the high will be near 70 with a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly between 1 and 2 p.m., the weather service said. The west wind of 10 to 16 mph will gust as high as 24 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.

Tonight, there is a 10 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 64 with a northwest wind of 9 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday, the high will be near 81 with mostly sunny skies and a north northwest wind of 10 mph, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 61 and a north wind of 5 to 8 mph, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 80 and a north northeast wind of 5 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 80.

Thursday night, expect a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 68.

Friday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m., with a high near 87, the weather service said.

Friday night, the low will be around 71, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 92, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 73 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 92, the weather service said.
