More rain is in today’s forecast from the National Weather Service, and temperatures will rise to about 65.
Showers are likely, mainly before 11 a.m. today, the weather service said. Rain also is in the forecast through Thursday, with a round of storms possible on Thursday morning and also on Thursday afternoon.
Some areas north of Wyandotte County could experience flooding, according to the forecast.
Today, there is a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 a.m., with a high near 65, the weather service said. There will be a south southeast wind of 3 to 7 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible.
Tonight, there is a 90 percent chance of showers, then showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 59 with a southeast wind of 6 to 10 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Thursday, there is a 100 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly before 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 76 and it will be breezy, with a south southwest wind of 11 to 16 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds may gust as high as 37 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
Thursday night, the low will be around 29 with a south southwest wind of 14 to 20 mph, becoming north northwest after midnight, according to the weather service. Winds may gust as high as 30 mph.
Friday, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually mostly sunny, with a high near 38, the weather service said. A north northwest wind of 11 to 18 mph will gust as high as 29 mph.
Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 23, according to the weather service.
Saturday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 44, the weather service said.
Saturday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 33, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 46, the weather service said.
Sunday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 36, according to the weather service.
Monday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 57, the weather service said.
Monday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low of 44, according to the weather service.
