A transition to light snow is possible late Friday in the northern parts of the region, then a second round of light snow will spread across the majority of the region on Saturday; total amounts will be around 1 inch or less, the weather service said.
Today’s forecast is a high of 44, with a 90 percent chance of rain. Between a tenth and quarter inch of rain is forecast, the weather service said.
Tonight, there is a 70 percent chance of rain with a low of 40, the weather service said.
Friday, expect a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 44, according to the weather service.
Friday night’s forecast is a 50 percent chance of rain and snow before midnight, then a chance of snow, the weather service said.
Saturday, there is a 50 percent chance of snow, the weather service said, with a high of 29. Winds will pick up to 13 to 17 mph, gusting to 26 mph.
Saturday night’s low will be 11, according to the weather service.
Sunday, expect a high of 20, and Sunday night, a low of 13, the weather service said.
Monday’s forecast is partly cloudy with a high of 33, according to the weather service.
