A driver suffered a minor injury in an accident at 4:08 p.m. Monday, March 4, at 4427 Shawnee Drive, Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Honda passenger car was westbound on Shawnee Drive, attempting to make a left turn onto South 44th, and a Pontiac passenger car was eastbound on Shawnee Drive. The location was just west of I-635.
The Honda attempted to turn in front of the Pontiac, and the Pontiac struck the Honda, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Honda, a 77-year-old Overland Park woman, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Pontiac, a 21-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had no apparent injury, the trooper’s report stated.
