Minor injuries were reported in a three-vehicle accident at 9:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, on northbound I-635 between Swartz Road and Metropolitan Avenue.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Chevrolet Camaro was driving on the shoulder of I-635 and struck a Chevrolet Prizm, causing it to strike a Chrysler 300.
The Camaro left the roadway and came to rest in the median, with the other vehicles in the lane of traffic, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Camaro, a 46-year-old Overland Park, Kansas, man, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Prizm, a 49-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, also had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Chrysler 300, a 56-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
