Mild and windy weather is in today’s forecast from the National Weather Service.

Looking ahead to the weekend, a frost or light freeze and snow are possible on Saturday morning, according to the weather service.

Today’s high will be 72, with winds gusting as high as 24 mph in the afternoon, the weather service said.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of rain, and the rain forecast continues Thursday and Friday, according to the weather service.

Friday night’s low will be 33, and there is a 30 percent chance of snow before 7 a.m., the weather service said.

Thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday night, with little or no severe weather expected, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 72, the weather service said. A south wind of 5 to 10 mph will increase to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon, with winds gusting as high as 24 mph.

Thursday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a chance of rain after 7 a.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 68 with a south wind of 8 to 18 mph, gusting as high as 31 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible.

Thursday night, there is a 70 percent chance of rain, then showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 47 with a south southeast wind of 6 to 10 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Friday, there is a 90 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 5 p.m., then rain is likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 54 with a south southeast wind of 6 to 10 mph, becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds may gust as high as 22 mph. New rainfall amounts will be between a tenth and quarter-inch.

Friday night, there is a 60 percent chance of rain before 5 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow. The low will be around 33. Less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation is likely.

Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of snow before 7 a.m., with a high near 55, the weather service said.
