A cold, slow rain fell this morning as members of the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department ran a 1.4-mile stretch in full tactical gear on 118th in honor of slain Detective Brad Lancaster. Members of the Kansas City Kan., Police Department’s Special Operations Unit and other tactical units participated in the run, which started near where a vehicle was carjacked and traced a route to where he was killed, near the Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kan.
