Mayor Mark Holland’s Listening Tour next will visit District 4 at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Wyandotte High School, 2501 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
Mayor Holland will make remarks, and then comments of residents will be heard in small discussion groups.
The purpose of the listening tour is to receive information from residents on how they would like to spend $12 million that is expected to become available in 2017 when STAR (sales tax revenue) bonds are paid in the Village West area.
The meeting is open to the public, and while it is for District 4, residents of other districts also may attend. The meeting is expected to end by 7:30 p.m.
