A man about 30 years old was shot at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, while driving in the 1900 block of Quindaro Boulevard, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
The man had a gunshot wound to his head and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police stated. The victim is in stable condition, police said.
The victim crashed into a light pole after being struck by gunfire, according to police.
The suspect is unknown and fled, police said.
A Wyandotte County bus was stopped near the scene but was not involved in the incident, according to police. No injuries were reported on the bus.
