Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating a shooting at Painted Hills Golf Course, 7101 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., a spokesman said.
Police received a report about 4:20 p.m. Feb. 10 about the shooting. They found a man in his 60s with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg, a police spokesman said.
According to the spokesman, initial information indicates the victim was golfing near the 12th hole of the golf course when shots were fired from a passing vehicle. At this time there is no suspect or vehicle information to release, police said.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s criminal investigations division, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
