The death of a man in a standoff on North 73rd Terrace Friday was caused by gunshot wounds sustained during an exchange of fire.
The Wyandotte County coroner determined the cause of death, according to a Kansas City, Kan., police spokesman.
Charles Broadway died in the incident in the 1700 block of North 73rd Terrace. It remains under investigation, police said.
