A man in his 20s was taken to the hospital in critical condition this afternoon after a shooting in the 1200 block of Central Avenue, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Police were called to the scene about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 21 and found a man in his early 20s suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the spokesman. The man was inside a vehicle.
The Criminal Investigations Division of the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating. Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
