Demarkus Campbell-Donnell was found guilty today of second-degree murder.
A Wyandotte County jury returned the guilty verdict on Dec. 17.
Campbell-Donnell and Lakorri Terry were charged in the shooting death of Anthony Bush Jr. on March 4, 2015, near 61st and Leavenworth Road in Kansas City, Kan.
The case was investigated by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department and prosecuted by Mollie Hill, assistant district attorney. Sentencing is scheduled for a later date.
Terry entered a plea and was convicted of second-degree murder on Friday, Dec. 11. His sentencing is set for Jan. 15, 2016.
