Christopher B. Stewart, 28, waived a preliminary hearing Friday and was bound over for trial on charges of first-degree murder, eluding a police officer and interference with a law enforcement officer.
He is charged in the Feb. 17, 2014, death of Graciela E. Olivas, which occurred when Stewart wrecked into the victim’s vehicle while he was fleeing from police at the intersection of 34th Street and Shawnee Drive in Kansas City, Kan.
A pretrial conference is scheduled May 16.
