A 38-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was arrested at 9:37 p.m. Dec. 21 in Clay County, Mo., according to a Missouri Highway Patrol arrest report.
The man was arrested on a felony warrant from the Kanas Department of Corrections, and was held on no bond in the Clay County Detention Center, the report stated.
According to Kansas Department of Corrections information, the man was on in-state post release in January in Shawnee County, Kan., and absconded on Sept. 10, 2015.
He had been convicted in 2004 of a drug possession charge and in 2013 of a firearm possession charge out of Montgomery County, Kan.
