A four-vehicle accident was reported about 6:19 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, on southbound I-635 just north of 38th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Chevrolet Malibu was southbound on I-635 when the driver lost control and went into two other lanes, striking a Kenworth semi and an International semi. The Malibu then spun and struck a Timpte semi pulling a Peterbilt semi trailer, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Malibu, a 23-year-old man from Axtell, Kansas, was taken to a hospital with a minor injury, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Kenworth semi, a 54-year-old man from Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, had no apparent injury, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the International semi, a 59-year-old woman from Kansas City, Kansas, had no apparent injury, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the TImpte semi, a 61-year-old man from Rich Hill, Missouri, also was not injured, according to the trooper’s report.
