Live music lunch at downtown KCK library today

A free live music concert will take place at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at the Huron Park Rose Garden in downtown Kansas City, Kan.

The location is near the downtown Main Kansas City, Kan., Library at 625 Minnesota Ave.

Sponsored by the library and the Downtown Shareholders, the event features free live music from the alternative jazz band, Rough Tet, with music written by Arnold Young.

Food vendors including Indios Carbonsitos and Quick’s Bar-B-Q will be along Ann Street between the stairs to Huron Park and the library parking lot entrance. Lunch will be available for purchase.

In the event of inclement weather such as rain or storms, the event will be canceled and rescheduled. Any information about cancellations will be posted on the Downtown Shareholders’ Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/DowntownShareholders.
