A legislative coffee is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 16, at the West Wyandotte Branch Library, 1737 N. 82nd, Kansas City, Kan.
It is sponsored by the library, League of Women Voters and NAACP. It is open to the public, and it includes questions and answers.
Rep. Kathy Wolfe Moore, D-36th Dist., and Rep. Louis Ruiz, D-31st Dist., are planning to give an update about the legislative session. Rep. Ruiz is the assistant House minority leader.
The legislators are currently on a break and will return to Topeka April 27 for the veto session.
