Legends Outlets to open The Lawn next weekend

The Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kansas, is preparing to open The Lawn, an open community area on the west side of the shopping center, next weekend. There is a large video screen above the area.

The Lawn, an open community area at the west end of The Legends Outlets, plans to open on Friday, Aug. 23.

The center plans a Young Professionals Night from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at The Lawn, to include music, yard games, a beer garden, giveaways, light snacks from the Yard House and a Royals watch party. Guests must be 21 or older at the beer garden.

Also planned is a free 50-minute workout class on The Lawn on Saturday morning, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The workout class leader will be Tony Temple of The Burn KC and Core Power Yoga. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for the event.

The celebration will then continue with a Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at The Legends. Activities will include prize giveaways, snacks, yard games, a petting zoo, face painting, mascot appearance and Sporting KC autograph signing.
