The Legends Outlets is adding three businesses this year in a new building.
Noodles and Company, Pepper Jax Grill and Visionworks will open in the new 9,500-square-foot free-standing building, which is located near Granite City on the south side of The Legends Outlets, according to a spokesman for the shopping center.
There is still one more retail space available in the new building, according to the spokesman.
Visionworks, an eye care provider, will hold its grand opening June 23-26. The Legends Outlets location will provide eyeglasses, sunglasses and accessories, and will be staffed by an optometrist. Visionworks’ services also include contact lens dispensing, with an in-store lab that has one-hour service for many prescriptions.
The Legends Outlets spokesman said Visionworks has more than 700 stores nationally, including several other locations in the metropolitan area. The location at 1703 Village West Parkway occupies 2,800 square feet. It will have a grand opening special of 60 percent off a complete pair of eyeglasses.
Two new fast-casual restaurants are included in the new building.
Noodles and Company , which is expected to open in July, has a menu that includes noodles and pasta dishes from throughout the world, the spokesman said. That includes Italian, Asian and American dishes. The menu also includes appetizers, sandwiches, salads and soups.
The restaurant is located at 1703 Village West Parkway in a 2,700-square-foot space. There are more than 15 locations in Greater Kansas City, and more than 500 locations throughout the nation, the spokesman said.
Pepper Jax Grill is slated for a fall opening, projected this September, according to the spokesman.
Known for its Philly cheesesteaks, the fast-casual restaurant also will feature gourmet rice bowls, giant burritos, loaded nachos, salads and more.
Patrons will be able to walk through and see restaurant workers making sandwiches fresh to order, the spokesman said. Pepper Jax Grill’s address will be 1703 Village West Parkway, in a 2,400-square-foot space.
Pepper Jax Grill already has multiple locations in Greater Kansas City and the two-state area, and has about 40 restaurants nationwide.
