The resident council of Westgate Towers, 6100 Leavenworth Road, will have a garage sale Friday-Sunday (May 2,3 and 4) in the highrise parking lot.
The Maple Hill Optimist Club, a community partner, is donating two bicycles to the Leavenworth Road Association fishing derby. The annual fishing derby will be Saturday, June 14, at Wyandotte County Lake.
The next Leavenworth Road Association meeting is May 13. On the menu is hamburger-French fry casserole. Davis Allen from the Board of Public Utilities will be the guest speaker.
