Large crowd attends ‘Best of KCK’ event

The Kansas City, Kan., Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual event Wednesday called the “Best of KCK.”

This year the annual event was held at Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City, Kan. An estimated 500 people attended the event.

The food for the event was provided by Sporting Park, the Mason Jar and 1889 Pizza. Such companies and organizations as the Board of Public Utilities, Kansas City, Kan., Board of Education, Girl Scouts and Downtown Shareholders were represented.

Various labor unions also had a booth plus Kansas City Kansas Community College, Bishop Ward High School, and Donnelly College.

At the event there was a lot of talk about the American Royal coming to Wyandotte County as excitement filled the air.
